How to register

We have an open list and welcome requests for registration from patients living in or moving into the practice area.

You can register by completing a registration form available from reception. Once registered we expect patients to be prepared to see any doctor who is available, but if you have a preference for a certain GP then we will try to satisfy your choice but this may not always be possible.

Prior to full registration with the practice, (you will be made an appointment for a new patient medical with our practice nurse or health care assistant) the statement in brackets does not apply during the Covid Pandemic period. A medical check is to ascertain baseline information which enables us to assess any clinical needs you may have in the first few weeks following registration. Medical records from your previous GP are not generally received for at least four to six weeks after your registration appointment and therefore any information provided is important to your well being.  Please be open and frank when completing your form or when open again at the registration consultation as the more information we have recorded on you the easier it is to determine any medical issues that may arise in those first few weeks of registration.

When registering with the practice you will be allocated a named GP who is responsible for your overall care. A member of the reception team can inform you about your named GP. However, this does not prevent you from seeing any other GP of your preference.
Please be aware as a practice we do not prescribe Benzo’s or Methodone, so please do not ask as we do not wish to offend.
