Zero Tolerance NHS Policy
We take seriously any threatening, abusive or violent behaviour against any of our staff or other patients. If a patient is verbally abusive to either staff or other patients they will be asked to stop their behaviour immediately. If they persist, with the abuse we will exercise our right to take action to have them removed from the premises, and this may result in the practice removing patients from our list. Should Patients act violently of aggressively in any manner within the surgery the local polcie will be contacted and this will result in them be removed from the surgery immediately and will also be removed from the practice list in accordance with the NHS Zero Tolerance Policy.
